Update 17.5.2021 COVID Vaccination East Elmbridge: On Friday it was announced that Covid-19 vaccination second doses would be brought forward to eight weeks for patients in cohorts 1-9.The vaccination centre in Thames Ditton is responding by putting on additional clinics this week and next.

Text invitations will be sent out on Monday and Tuesday and the booking team would be grateful if patients would wait for their invitation and then book online where possible.  Texts will include the booking team phone number for those who are unable to book online.  Please do call this number 020 8187 1361 and not your GP practice.            
If you do not have a mobile phone, are housebound or we have been unable to reach you by text, the booking team will phone you over the next few days.   
Patients who have already booked their appointment should attend as normal.

We have been asked by NHS England to start delivering the COVID-19 mass vaccination programme from 15 December. This will be done by working together with other local GP Practices (called a Primary Care Network) to provide the vaccines, rather doing vaccinations here at the practice. To enable everyone to get the vaccine in a safe and controlled way, a prioritisation list has been established so the vaccine can be delivered to groups who need it first. NHS Routine Breast Screening

The Surrey  & North East Hampshire Breast Screening Services, delivered by InHealth at the Jarvis Breast Centre, will be calling women from this surgery for 3 year routine breast screening appointments between now and March 2020.  Invitations will be received by post and we would encourage all women who receive one to attend.  Breast screening helps to spot cancer sooner when it is too small to see or feel.  Early diagnosis could help to save you life.  For more information visit

The PPG was set up in October 2015, and we are made up of volunteer patients with the aim of improving patient wellbeing and where possible the services offered by the practice.

Organ Donation in England has moved to an 'opt out' system:    

What has changed?

Organ donation in England has moved to an 'opt out' system. You may also hear it referred to as 'Max and Keira's Law'.

This means that all adults in England will be considered to have agreed to be an organ donor when they die unless they have recorded a decision not to donate or are in one of the excluded groups.

Your family will still be approached and your faith, beliefs and culture will continue to be respected.

You still have a choice about whether or not you wish to become a donor. Get the facts about organ donation to help you decide.

New Patient Registration

We welcome new patients!

Please call to check your home address is within our catchment area.  Registering is easy - one of our team will talk you through the process - 01372 462726.

To register as a new patient for the surgery you will need to complete several registration forms. These are available at the surgery or you can use the forms below. You need to complete either an adult or child form plus the consent form. You will also be asked to complete the NHS registration form - a GMS1 form - please contact the practice for this.

It's a good time to also register for on-line access.  The details of on-line are above, just complete the form and bring it with your registration details.   

You must come to the surgery to complete the registration. Please bring a form of ID and a proof of address when you come in. We ask that registrations are between 11.00 a.m. and 5 p.m. please. Please be aware that the registration process does take a minimum of 48 hours.

Free NHS Health Checks

During the COVID pandemic we have placed health checks on hold but please do make an appointment to speak with a clinician if you have any health concerns.

Helping you to prevent heart disease, stroke, diabetes, kidney disease & dementia.

We are now doing Health Checks at Esher Green Surgery for patients between the ages of 40-74 who have NOT been diagnosed with the conditions mentioned above.

NHS 111


NHS 111 is a new service that's being introduced to make it easier for you to access local NHS healthcare services. You should use the NHS 111 service if you urgently need medical help or advice but it's not a life-threatening situation.

Call 111 if:

  • you need medical help fast but it's not a 999 emergency
  • you think you need to go to A&E or need another NHS urgent care service
  • you don't know who to call or you don't have a GP to call
  • you need health information or reassurance about what to do next
